SOC Analyst

Mertens Malam Team is hiring a SOC Analyst to join the Cyber Defense department in the technology division of a large and well-known organization in Tel Aviv.

Job Description:

This role involves joining a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) team, responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents in a complex organizational environment.

Responsibilities include:

Identifying, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity and information security incidents

Monitoring systems using SIEM and advanced security technologies

Detecting anomalies across network traffic, systems, and medical systems

Conducting in-depth investigations and presenting findings on security incidents

Proactively monitoring threats across the organization

Documenting incidents and writing detailed reports

Collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and implement security solutions

Requirements:

Completion of a relevant course (Cyber Defense / SOC Analyst), relevant academic degree, or relevant military experience – required

At least 1 year of experience in SOC environments – required

Experience working with security tools and technologies such as Windows Event Logs, SIEM, EDR, FW – required

High level of English – required
