🌍 Chief People Officer (CPO) – Shipping / Maritime

We are seeking an experienced Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead and unify all HR functions across a growing international maritime organization.

This is a group-level leadership role, responsible for driving consistency, structure, and alignment across multiple global offices.

📌 Key Responsibilities

🌐 Global HR Coordination

• Act as the central HR point of contact across offices in Dubai, Athens, London, Nigeria, and Ukraine
• Partner with local management to ensure consistent HR standards, policies, and processes
• Harmonise employment practices while ensuring compliance with local labour laws
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations globally, working with local advisors where required

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Shipping Focus)

• Lead recruitment across all locations, ensuring alignment in job scope, seniority, and compensation structures
• Manage and coordinate external recruitment agencies and maritime headhunters

Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with the Owner, CEO, CFO, and senior leadership on HR and organisational matters
• Support leadership structure, reporting lines, and cross-office collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role (HR Manager, Head of HR, or similar)
• Direct HR experience within the shipping / maritime industry
• Strong background in maritime recruitment or working with shipping-focused agencies
• Experience managing HR across multiple international locations
• Ability to operate as a central, unifying HR function across diverse jurisdictions and cultures
• High level of discretion, independence, and stakeholder confidence
