A leading import company is seeking an Applications Team Lead, responsible for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of organizational information systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a professional applications team and take overall responsibility for all organizational information systems.

• Lead projects in the BI domain (with an emphasis on Qlik) and WMS (with an emphasis on EXPERT).

• Initiate and improve business processes, and adapt existing systems to the organization’s evolving needs.

• Work closely with managers and end users—from initiation and requirements gathering through to go-live.

• Manage complex technological interfaces and integrations with external systems.

• Manage external vendors, including oversight of timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in managing and developing information systems in organizations with 50+ employees.

• Experience leading implementation/development teams and driving complex processes.

• Experience in BI environments, including working with Qlik.

• Experience with WMS systems; experience with EXPERT is an advantage.

• Relevant academic background in Information Systems / Software Engineering / Computer Science – a significant advantage.

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, assertiveness, and excellent management skills.
