Portune powers up enterprise IT distribution with AI sales engineering service, unlocking cross-domain technical knowledge that enables sellers to leverage every customer engagement to sell more, faster. We're growing fast and hiring a presales engineer for the founding team.

What you'll do

Lead sales engineering — discovery, demos, solution design, and technical validation alongside the sales process
Lead deployment and onboarding at customer sites — hands-on implementation from kickoff to production
Own customer success post-deployment — adoption, expansion, and renewal
Lead a global community of presales engineers around Portune
Work directly with presales teams at customers and partners — improve the system with every deployment

Who you are

3+ years in presales or sales engineering at a B2B technology vendor, VAR, or system integrator
Working knowledge across enterprise IT domains such as storage, cybersecurity, virtualization, cloud, and networking. Depth in some, appetite for the rest
Track record of building or leading a community — professional, open source, meetup, hobby. People showed up because of you
Mother-tongue-level English, written and spoken
Strong communicator — you earn trust with engineers and executives fast
