*Senior ML / AI Security Engineer*
*What you'll do*
• Train, fine-tune, and ship transformer-based classifiers that protect AI systems from prompt injection, jailbreaking, and data exfiltration — at production scale and sub-50ms latency.
• Own the full model lifecycle: data collection, training, optimization, deployment, and regression testing.
• Red-team your own models to find blind spots, then close them with targeted data generation and adversarial training.
• Extend our detection pipeline to new languages, modalities, and attack surfaces — without regressing on what already works.
• Read and implement ideas from academic security and NLP research into production systems.
*What you'll bring*
• 2+ years shipping ML models to production, primarily in NLP or other unstructured data domains.
• Strong hands-on experience with *PyTorch* and the *HuggingFace* ecosystem (Transformers, Optimum, datasets).
• Deep understanding of model optimization for production — quantization, latency-sensitive inference.
• Experience with precision/recall tradeoffs, false positive management, and evaluation at scale.
• Comfort working with multilingual data, including non-Latin scripts.
*Nice to have*
• An adversarial mindset — you think like an attacker before you ship a defense.
• Background in cybersecurity, offensive security, or AI safety research.
• Familiarity with GCP infrastructure.
