Job Summary

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Cortex XDR team and help us prevent, detect, and respond to threats using integrated endpoint, network, and cloud data—reducing noise and focusing on real threats. You will join a team that operates with the agility of a startup, supported by the strength and scale of a successful corporation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build infrastructure capable of handling large-scale event streams, including storing, processing, and making data accessible to users.
• Take ownership of significant features and components across the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and support.
• Write clean, testable, efficient, and scalable code that ensures performance at scale.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers and tech leads, contribute to technical design discussions, and help guide implementation decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and support cross-team integrations to ensure high-quality delivery and alignment with architectural direction.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience in developing distributed cloud products.
• Experience with networking protocols.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable server-side applications.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Go or Python.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Knowledge of the cybersecurity field.
