We are looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer to lead the engineering of a complex software system in the worlds of Cloud and Microservices. This is a pivotal role, offering the opportunity to drive the architecture, integration, and technological leadership of a high-impact, advanced system.

As a Senior System Engineer, you will lead the system design and serve as the central engineering authority for the project. You will work closely with the Project Manager and provide professional leadership to architects, system analysis teams, and QA teams. Additionally, you will guide development and infrastructure teams to ensure systemic compatibility, engineering quality, and adherence to requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle.

The system operates within advanced environments, including Kubernetes, Microservices architecture, and Hybrid Cloud (combining On-Prem and Public Cloud), alongside complex infrastructure, networking, and information security components.

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a System Engineer in complex software development projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in designing systems involving Kubernetes, Microservices, and Hybrid Cloud environments.
• Infrastructure & Security: Hands-on experience with infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity.
• Leadership: Experience in the engineering leadership of multi-team projects.
• Security Clearance: Willingness to undergo a security clearance process.

• Security Clearance: Valid/Active security clearance.
• Methodology: Experience working in Agile environments.
• DevSecOps: Experience implementing DevSecOps processes.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS.
• Industry Context: Previous experience in defense projects or on the vendor/provider side.
