A Leading Defense Company Is Seeking a Design & UX Manager

📍 Haifa / Netanya

We are looking for a senior professional managerial role within the Product Design and Human Factors Engineering team, responsible for integrating design and human‑factors processes as an integral part of the engineering product development lifecycle.

The team serves as the professional authority for user‑centered design, leading the introduction and adoption of tools, methods, and design processes across the organization.

Role Responsibilities:

• Professional leadership of the Design, UX, and Human Factors domain across the organization

• Definition, adaptation, and implementation of design methodologies and work processes

• Management of external vendors at scale and oversight of the design process across multiple concurrent projects

• Close collaboration with system engineering, development, and specification teams

• Building dedicated project teams according to project needs

• Development of professional tools and facilitation of design process adoption across the organization

• Providing professional consultancy to specification teams, system engineering, and managers from various disciplines

• Initiating and leading activities related to user research, usability, and design

• Implementation, sharing, and management of professional knowledge within the team and across the organization

Requirements:

• Degree in Design (Graphic / Industrial) or related fields such as Psychology or Human Factors Engineering

• Approximately 10 years of experience in system specification and working closely with development teams and product managers

• Strong analytical skills and high system‑level understanding

• High communication and assertiveness skills, with the ability to lead and clearly articulate ideas and concepts

• High level of English proficiency

Significant Advantage:

• Command or leadership military background (Officer level) – Infantry / Intelligence / Operations

• Active security clearance
