We at Bynet Communications are hiring an experienced Tier 2 Security Analyst for a prestigious national project. This role combines 50% analytical work and 50% hands-on implementation and operation of cybersecurity solutions.
The position requires the ability to handle complex cyber incidents, lead in-depth investigations, and work with advanced security technologies.
What your day will look like:
Managing and operating security solutions such as EDR, Antivirus, Firewalls (FW), NAC, and more
Escalating and resolving incidents from Tier 1
Monitoring systems and cyber events in real time, identifying threats, and providing initial response
Investigating complex cyber incidents and conducting deep-dive analysis
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience as a Security Analyst
At least 1 year of experience in incident response and investigation
Completion of a cybersecurity course (300+ hours)
Experience in writing reports, scripts, and controls for security solutions
At least 1 year of experience operating security systems (EDR/SIEM/FW/NAC/Mail Relay)
Strong understanding of network topology and communication protocols, especially DNS
In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Willingness to work non-standard hours, including night shifts
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hebrew
Willingness to undergo a security clearance process
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Valid driver’s license
This is a full-time position, with the option for 60% employment.
