Data Developer – Studio Data Owner

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Developer to join Playtika's Data Studios team as a Studio Data Owner — the primary data and AI partner embedded inside a gaming studio. You'll own the studio's core data assets, work closely with business stakeholders, and turn real business pains into fast, practical solutions powered by modern tools including AI and LLMs. Your success will be measured by business impact — decisions improved, processes accelerated, and KPIs moved.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Data Ownership and Partnership

Act as the primary data partner for an assigned Playtika studio and participate in key business discussions.

Own studio core data models, tables, and metric definitions and ensure data integrity, quality, consistency.

Proactively identify business pains, inefficiencies, and opportunities and contribute to KPI definition.

Solution Design, Automation & AI Enablement

Translate studio pains into technology-driven solutions by designing and building focused POCs .

Reduce repetitive and operational data work through automation and leverage AI/LLMs to simplify analyst workflows, accelerate insight generation, and standardize recurring processes.

Champion AI-powered development tools as part of your daily work.

Cross-Team Collaboration

Work alongside Data Development / Engineering teams.

Serve as the voice of the studio inside Technology .

Maintain regular physical presence and engagement routines with studio stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience in data development, data engineering, or BI development.
• Strong SQL skills — your core tool for data exploration, modeling, and problem-solving.
• Experience designing & building data models and ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong communication skills — translate business needs into technical solutions and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Business-oriented mindset — curiosity about how the business works and where data can make a real difference.
• Comfort working with AI tools (LLMs, AI coding assistants, prompt engineering) — or strong willingness to adopt them as core work tools.
• Good English (spoken and written).

• Experience with high-pace tech and experience in customer/stakeholder-facing data roles.
• Experience with Python for scripting, automation, or data processing.
• Experience with workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow)
• Experience with big data tools (Spark, Kafka)
• Experience with columnar/analytical DBs (e.g., Vertica)
• Experience with BI & analytics tools (Tableau, Mixpanel, or similar).
