Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Network Technician to join our technical team.

This role combines hands-on field work, including installation of passive infrastructure, alongside configuration and management of active networking equipment in customer environments.

It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in the Networking and Cyber Security domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Active Infrastructure: Configuration, maintenance, and ongoing management of Cisco switches in enterprise environments
• Physical Installations: Perform on-site installations including drilling, mounting, and deployment of endpoints such as Wi-Fi Access Points, security cameras, and additional equipment
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve Layer 2 / Layer 3 (L2/L3) network issues – from physical connectivity to logical configuration.
• Working at Heights (Advantage): Perform installations and maintenance at height, in accordance with safety procedures

Requirements

• Technical Knowledge (Must): Solid understanding of computer networking (OSI model, TCP/IP, VLANs, Ethernet, routing protocols)
• Infrastructure Experience (Advantage): Familiarity with passive infrastructure (fiber optics, cabling, communication racks)
• Technical & Physical Capability (Must): Willingness to perform physically demanding work, including use of tools (drills, screwdrivers), ladders, and working at heights
• Active Equipment (Advantage): Familiarity with Cisco equipment (basic configuration skills)
• Driver’s License (Must)
