Job Description

hms is hiring a Head of Data Group for a large-scale project within a government organization.

The role includes leading multidisciplinary data teams, defining architecture for complex data systems, managing cloud and data infrastructure initiatives, and overseeing projects, vendors, budgets, and work plans.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data, infrastructure, cloud, or complex information systems
• Experience managing at least two multidisciplinary technology teams
• Experience with architecture for distributed and data-intensive systems
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and large-scale technology projects
• Experience leading annual or multi-year work plans, KPIs, and control processes
• Familiarity with data infrastructure, data lakes, integration, automation, and cloud environments
• Relevant education

Advantages
