About the Role:

We are looking for a VP of Operations to lead and scale our Operations organization.

This role owns the entire post-sales operational lifecycle and serves as the primary executive interface between the company and the customer after contract signing. The mission is clear: deliver customer value fast, reliably, and at scale, while building an operation that is predictable, efficient, and ready for enterprise growth.

The VP of Operations will lead a growing, multidisciplinary organization and is fully accountable for end-to-end deployments, operational excellence, and the design of scalable processes, systems, and teams that support the company’s long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Strategy, Scale & Optimization

• Define and own the company-wide operations and deployment strategy, aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Design and implement scalable, repeatable deployment processes and systems that support growth in volume and complexity.
• Build and lead process optimization and automation initiatives to improve speed, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Own operational cost structure, including hardware strategy, logistics, vendor management, and overall margin impact.

End-to-End Deployment Accountability

• Maintain full accountability for end-to-end deployment success across all customers.
• Ensure alignment and execution across hardware procurement, logistics, deployment planning, installation, and commissioning.
• Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, R&D, IT to ensure seamless delivery and predictable outcomes.
• Ensure customers experience time-to-value and high-quality deployments, at scale.

Organizational Leadership & Ownership

• Lead and scale the Operations organization, including hiring, structure, performance management, and leadership development.
• Build a strong operations leadership team, including managers and senior managers, with clear accountability and ownership.
• Translate company goals into clear operational priorities, KPIs, and execution plans.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for critical operational and customer-facing issues.
• Establish a high-performance operational culture focused on execution excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in Operations, Deployment, Supply Chain, Logistics, or large-scale project delivery within Industry 4.0, industrial technology, or complex hardware–software environments, preferably in high-growth companies.
• Proven track record leading high-volume, multi-site deployments of complex, multidisciplinary products (hardware, software, networking, IT).
• Strong experience building scalable operational strategies and infrastructures, including automation and process optimization.
• 8+ years of experience leading and scaling large, multi-layered teams, including managers and senior leaders.
• Strategic, executive-level mindset with the ability to drive alignment and execution across multiple teams in the organization.
• Strong data-driven approach, with experience defining and owning operational KPIs and executive-level reporting.
• Maritime industry experience, particularly in deployment and operations, is a strong plus.
