Controller- Maternity leave replacement

Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Controller for a Maternity leave replacement cover to lead and enhance our finance operations, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and strong internal controls. In this role, you will collaborate closely with teams across the organization and external auditors, to strengthen controls, support audits, and enable scalable growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual close processe, including accruals, analytics, and financial statement preparation of the Company.
• Oversee tax filings and support tax audits in collaboration with external accountants. Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to support management decision-making
• Manage intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, and reconciliations
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
• Partner with Procurement to ensure alignment with financial controls and policies.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and Budget vs. Actual analysis.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and streamline workflows to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years as Controller or Assistant Controller in a high-tech, growth-stage company
• CPA certification from a Big 4 accounting firm
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a leading institution
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite- Advantage
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• High standards of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, team collaboration, and service-oriented mindset
• Fluent English, written and spoken
