Convi is building the world's first autonomous legal intelligence platform. We're creating AI agents that transform how personal injury cases are managed end-to-end — from intake to claim filing to settlement. Not another legal SaaS tool. A system that thinks, reasons, and acts on real legal knowledge. Based in Petah Tikva, hybrid model.

Role Description

We're looking for our next builder. Not a "senior engineer." Not an "AI specialist." A builder.

Someone who takes a problem, understands the business context and impact, lives inside the system, picks the right approach and stack, and builds until the goal is achieved. Someone who works deeply with agentic development and still understands every pixel in the system — the code, the decisions, and the cost of every choice.

This is a hands-on role: 80% building, 20% strategy and technical direction. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founding team, building the legal intelligence engine and agentic infrastructure that powers the platform.

What You'll Own

- ML / data pipelines

- Data and knowledge layer

- Agent infrastructure

- Evaluations and quality systems

- Databases (document, graph, vector)

- Cloud deployment and security

- Everything it takes to run agentic systems in production

Our Stack

Next.js, MongoDB, Cloud Run, Vercel AI SDK + Vertex AI. But we care more about depth, ownership, and judgment than familiarity with any specific technology.

What We're Looking For

- Solid engineering experience with real production systems

- Deep, practical understanding of AI systems — not just tools, but how they actually work

- Ability to take full ownership of technical domains and deliver results

- Comfort with speed, ambiguity, and constant change

- Uses AI as a force multiplier, not a crutch — understands what's being built, not just how to prompt

- Wants to build something that actually matters

- Connected to Israel's tech and AI community — learns from it, contributes to it

This Role Is NOT For Someone Who

- Talks about AI and agents more than they build and ship them

- Needs heavy structure, detailed specs, and hand-holding

- Is strong in only one narrow slice of the stack

- Discusses methodologies and approaches without actually adopting and living them

- Looks great on paper but hasn't built real systems under real constraints
