Backend Team Lead -Discover Team

Zafran is looking for an experienced Discover Team lead to lead a highly impactful team responsible for building and improving our discovery capabilities. This team plays a critical role in a product that is currently being built and evolving, working very closely with the business and responding quickly to field needs.

In this role, you will lead the development of asset discovery and endpoint intelligence capabilities, building and optimizing collection sensors that execute across hundreds of thousands of devices to gather rich system data through low-level system interactions, helping shape a core part of the platform.

What you will do:

• Lead a small, focused engineering team working on discovery capabilities.
• Build and improve systems that provide deep visibility into endpoints and environments.
• Work on low-level components and system-level code when needed.
• Collaborate closely with product, research, and field teams to quickly respond to real customer needs.
• Drive fast iterations within a product that is actively being built and evolving.
• Help define the technical direction of the discovery domain within the platform.
• Mentor and support engineers on the team.
  
  

• At least 3+ years of experience in Endpoint Security or in developing low-level system code.
• Strong understanding of operating systems and endpoint environments.
• Experience working close to the system level (low-level development).
• Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and respond quickly to field and customer needs.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.
