Automation Team Lead
We are looking for an experienced Automation Team Lead to join our R&D team and own the entire testing lifecycle.
If you’re passionate about building robust automation infrastructures from scratch, designing scalable Python-based frameworks, and driving a high-standard quality culture—this one’s for you.
📌 Responsibilities
✔ Lead & Mentor: Lead a high-impact automation team, conducting code reviews, pair programming, and supporting professional growth.
✔ Drive Strategy: Design and execute the automation strategy, defining quality KPIs and selecting the right tools for the job.
✔ Hands-on Development: Spend ~50% of your time writing production-grade Python code and building frameworks using pytest.
✔ Own the Pipeline: Integrate automation into our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), ensuring stable builds and a "fully green" production environment.
✔ Design Architecture: Translate R&D requirements into scoped user stories and technical test plans.
✔ Collaborate: Work daily with Developers, DevOps, and Product teams to align on quality, delivery, and scalability.
✅ Requirements
✔️ 3+ years of experience in Leadership: Proven track record in technical management, hiring, and delivery ownership.
✔️ Expertise in Python: 3+ years of hands-on experience developing automation frameworks (not just writing scripts) using Python/pytest.
✔️ Infrastructure Master: Deep experience in building test automation infrastructure from the ground up.
✔️ CI/CD Proficiency: Strong experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
✔️ Methodological Mindset: Solid understanding of Unit, Integration, and E2E testing in an Agile environment.
✔️ Tech-Savvy: Comfort working in Linux environments and familiarity with Docker (advantage).
✔️ B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent field (advantage).
