A leading financial company in Israel is seeking an experienced DBA Oracle Team Manager to lead a team of 3 DBAs.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for managing a DBA team in charge of database and infrastructure operations, including installations, backups, performance tuning, upgrades, maintenance, and support for development teams.
- Management of core systems databases at the heart of business activity.
- Support for end users in production environments and for developers in test environments.
- Ongoing support and management of the following database technologies:
- Oracle (Exadata)
- MS SQL Server
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- Snowflake
- Support for various infrastructure systems, including: Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle EBS, OIM, CDC.
- Handling incidents and providing on-call availability during nights and weekends as required.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- 3+ years of experience managing a DBA team in an enterprise-scale organization.
- Strong planning capabilities, broad systems perspective, and multidisciplinary understanding.
- Proven hands-on experience in both application-level and infrastructure-level environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in performance troubleshooting and optimization – mandatory.
