Low-Level Group Manager – Core Sensor/Engine | Cybersecurity Startup (Tel Aviv, Hybrid).
A fast-growing, highly attractive cybersecurity startup is looking for an experienced Group Manager to lead one of its most critical domains – the core Sensor/Engine of the product.
This is a key leadership role at the heart of the technology, directly impacting real-time protection in cloud environments.
What you’ll do:
Lead a group of low-level linux engineering teams building a high-performance Sensor/Engine that detects and blocks attacks in real time.
Own architecture, scalability, and performance, while working closely with research, engineering, and customer-facing teams to turn cutting-edge ideas into production-ready solutions.
Must-have requirements:
5+ years managing low-level engineering teams (including team leads)
Strong hands-on experience with Go / C / C++
Proven experience building Sensors/Engines in cloud production environments
Deep understanding of Linux/Windows internals (memory, processes, etc.).
Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker) - Big Advantage.
Experience working with customers or customer-facing teams
