Head Accountant

The role carries full responsibility for financial reporting, ongoing collaboration with senior management, and exposure to strategic organizational processes.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Management and oversight of the bookkeeping and reconciliation functions
• Preparation of ongoing management reports and financial analyses
• Management of monthly and quarterly closing processes
• Liaison with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions
• Cash flow management and budget control
• Support for financing transactions and preparation of materials for management
• Implementation of financial processes and improvement of internal controls
• Support for management-level decision-making processes

Requirements:

• Certified CPA – required
• Prior experience in a similar role – advantage
• Experience working under IFRS standards – required
• Background at a Big 4 firm or publicly traded company – significant advantage
• Advanced Excel proficiency (BI experience – advantage)
• Strong analytical skills and business-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
