Manager, Development, Donors and Events Department

Company Description

A leading global philanthropic organization is seeking a senior leader to head its Development, Donors, and Events department in Israel. This is a strategic role focused on bridging global leadership priorities with on-the-ground execution.

What You Will Do:

• Lead & Execute: Manage and empower specialized teams (including Visits, Events, Writing, and Donor Recognition) while acting as the central project manager to turn high-level strategy into clear, actionable workplans.
• Donor Stewardship: Architect high-level international donor visits, recognition events, and dedication ceremonies at the highest organizational standards.
• Cross-Organizational Sync: Coordinate financial transfers for Special Gifts and engage senior staff to support global fundraising efforts.

Qualifications : 

• Significant experience in development, donor stewardship, project management, or related senior coordination roles, preferably in a complex or multi-stakeholder environment.
• Proven ability to manage and empower teams while ensuring accountability, follow-through, and high-quality delivery.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, execution, tracking progress, and resolving bottlenecks across multiple initiatives.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate high-level priorities into practical plans and actionable next steps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership, donors, and international partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
