Project Manager – Mental Health & Therapeutic Professions Aliyah Initiative (50%)

Gvahim is a leading non-profit organization with 20 years of experience supporting Olim from around the world in their successful integration into the Israeli job market.

In response to the growing demand for mental health professionals in Israel, Gvahim is launching a dedicated initiative aimed at encouraging Aliyah among professionals in the therapeutic and mental health fields, and supporting their successful professional integration into the Israeli healthcare, education, and community systems.

The program focuses on identifying, recruiting, preparing, and supporting professionals such as psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, and other therapeutic practitioners throughout their Aliyah and professional integration journey.

·      Lead and manage the Mental Health Aliyah Initiative

·      Develop and implement an annual work plan and program milestones

·      Coordinate activities across internal teams and external stakeholders

·      Identify and engage mental health professionals within Jewish communities abroad

·      Organize webinars, information sessions, and outreach events

·      Provide guidance regarding professional licensing and recognition processes

·      Connect candidates with relevant training, bridging programs, or certification pathways

·      Build partnerships with hospitals, healthcare organizations, NGOs, and public institutions

·      Collaborate with government bodies and professional organizations in the mental health sector

·      Track program progress, and create reports for internal leadership and external partners

·      Minimum 3 years of project management experience

·      Experience working with multiple partners and stakeholders

·      Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

·      Fluent English and Hebrew (spoken and written)

·      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·      Familiarity with the healthcare or mental health sector – mandatory

·      Experience working with immigrant populations – an advantage
