Environmental Conditions & Dynamics Engineer

We are looking for a Dynamics & Environmental Conditions Engineer to join a leading defense company. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our advanced systems can withstand extreme operational environments. You will lead the process from initial analysis and requirements definition to hands-on testing and final qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dynamic Analysis: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate vibrations, shocks, and structural integrity under dynamic environmental conditions.
• Modal Analysis: Conduct modal analyses of airborne vehicles to assess frequencies and mode shapes.
• Research & Development: Research and implement innovative models for evaluating unique environmental conditions.
• Test Leadership: Plan, lead, and analyze results of dynamic experiments (vibration, pyrotechnic shocks, acoustics, etc.).
• Field Support: Accompany systemic airborne tests, analyze real-time measurements, and apply them to project specifications.
• Certification: Define environmental requirement specifications (MIL-STD-810 or equivalent) and lead the qualification and certification processes for ground and airborne equipment.

Requirements:

• Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering – Mandatory (M.Sc. – a significant advantage).
• 3+ years of experience in structural/dynamics analysis or experimental testing – Mandatory.
• Proficiency in Python or Matlab for engineering applications – Mandatory.
• Experience with Patran/Nastran – Advantage.
• Knowledge of physical signal processing and random processes – Advantage.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 (or similar environmental standards) – Advantage.
• Core Competencies: Strong independent leadership skills, ability to manage tasks in a matrix environment, and excellent communication across multiple interfaces.
