Java Software Engineer

A high-impact Cyber-Security startup specializing in Cloud-Native Identity and Access Management (IAM). Following significant funding rounds and having secured a prestigious global client base, the company is redefining how Enterprises manage complex authorization and authentication workflows.

Operating from a central Tel Aviv technology hub (adjacent to the train) with a hybrid work model (2 days WFH), the organization of 100 professionals offers an elite R&D environment focused on scalability, security, and modern cloud architecture.

Responsibilities-

• Core Backend Engineering: Architecting and implementing mission-critical services for a high-scale SaaS security product.
• Hybrid Language Mastery: Developing robust code in both Java (Spring Boot) and Go, leveraging the strengths of each for high-performance execution.
• Microservices at Scale: Designing and maintaining a distributed Microservices architecture orchestrated by Kubernetes and Docker.
• Data Strategy: Working with diverse data layers, including PostgreSQL and NoSQL solutions like ElasticSearch and MongoDB.
• Cloud-Native Deployment: Driving the platform’s evolution across AWS and GCP, focusing on Multi-Tenancy and high-availability patterns.
• Full Lifecycle Ownership: Taking features from design through automated CI/CD pipelines to production in a Linux-based environment.

Requirements-

• 5 years of professional experience in Java development – Mandatory.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying applications within Cloud environments (AWS/GCP) – Mandatory.
• Deep hands-on experience developing within a Linux environment – Mandatory.
• Experience with (or a strong desire to master) Go as a primary development language alongside Java.
• Strong understanding of Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Familiarity with Multi-Tenancy challenges, AuthN/AuthZ protocols, and building for global scale.
• A proactive engineer who values high-fidelity code, performance optimization, and robust system design.
