About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our growing development team focused on building secure, scalable, and high-performance financial applications. In this role, you will be a key player in developing our new AI-powered Assistant, enabling car dealerships to query complex operational and financial data using natural language.

You will work on backend services, LLM integration, and data pipelines, bridging the gap between natural language processing and our core financial systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in FinTech, experience with AI/LLMs, and a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI & Natural Language Processing: Design and implement a robust "Query Intent Parsing" engine that maps natural language (English/Spanish) to structured API requests.
• System Architecture: Build and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Python to support real-time data synchronization and reporting.
• Integration: Develop secure, tenant-scoped API wrappers to integrate the AI service with existing MySQL databases and financial reporting engines.
• Data Pipelines: Implement and optimize data processing pipelines for both real-time and batch financial data (LMS, delinquency, and payment tracking).
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all AI-driven queries adhere to strict multi-tenant data isolation and financial security standards (masking sensitive PII/SSN).
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to translate PRD requirements into technical execution, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Reliability: Develop automated testing and audit logging for AI responses to ensure high accuracy and performance under load.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Python Expertise: 4+ years of professional Python development experience with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
• AI/LLM Experience: Proven experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• FinTech Background: Experience building financial or transactional systems (accounting, lending, or insurance platforms). Familiarity with LMS/DMS data is a major plus.
• Database Mastery: Proficiency in MySQL, including the ability to interpret complex ERDs and optimize queries.
• API Development: Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous programming (Message Queues).
• Security Mindset: Deep understanding of server-side security, data encryption, and multi-tenant architecture.
• Technical Environment: Comfortable with Linux OS, Git version control, and CI/CD workflows.
• Language: Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage (for supporting bilingual AI intent).
