QC Biochemistry Analyst JB-63

At Protalix, our focus is to develop, produce and commercialize potentially better therapies for a variety of illnesses through cutting-edge research and development and our proprietary plant cell-based protein expression platform.

We’re looking for an Analyst for our Biochemistry Laboratory, for temporary, full-time position.

Responsibilities

• An understanding of GMP (Good Manufacture Practice) regulatory guidelines, ensuring accurate, complete, and compliant documentation of laboratory work.

• The QC Biochemistry Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of biochemical assays to support quality control of in-process materials and final products.

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments in accordance with GMP guidelines.

• Perform biochemical analyses, utilizing techniques such as quantitative concentration measurements using spectrophotometry, ELISA, Western Blot, and enzymatic activity assays.

• Chemical testing of raw materials.

Requirements

• Essential: Experience in analytical methods, hands-on experience with biochemical techniques, lab equipment.

• Preferred: Familiarity with GMP standards and scientific documentation.

• Computing skills, including use of spreadsheets (e.g. Word, Excel) and work with controlled laboratory documentation.

• Self-motivated & Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently, with proven ability to form strong partnerships with key stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills – English and Hebrew.

Education

B.Sc/ B.A. Biotechnology/ Biology/ Life Science with more than 1 year relevant experience.
