Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead with strong technical capabilities, leadership skills, and a broad system-level mindset. This is a hands-on role where you will lead a development team, guide architectural decisions, and take ownership of key services running in a modern cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers.
• Oversee and participate in end-to-end development processes.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures.
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and DevOps teams.
• Develop and maintain complex backend systems in a production environment.
• Modernize legacy components and migrate services to updated technologies.
• Work with existing Laravel (PHP) code when needed, as part of refactoring or service improvements.
• Promote best practices and ensure high engineering standards within the team.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proven experience leading a development team.
• Familiarity with C, C#, Node.js, Go, PHP/Laravel — strong advantage in any of these areas (none are mandatory by themselves).
• Experience with microservices and distributed system design.
• Understanding of cloud environments (AWS) and container technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes — advantage.
• Knowledge of REST, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, fast learning ability, and a proactive mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
