The Role & Responsibilities

• Engineering Leadership: Guiding a specialized development team through complex lifecycles, ensuring architectural integrity and high-quality delivery.
• Full-Stack Ownership: Driving the development of scalable backend systems using a diverse stack, including Python and Java.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Leading the design and deployment of robust cloud solutions on AWS, while managing complex integrations with diverse environments.
• Architecture & APIs: Designing high-performance REST APIs and managing sophisticated data-flows that power real-time consumer analytics.
• Technical Mentorship: Setting the standard for code quality and engineering best practices within a fast-paced, product-driven setting.

Requirements

• Technical Seniority: At least 10 years of professional software development experience – Mandatory.
• Management Pedigree: Minimum of 5 years in a Team Lead or technical leadership capacity – Mandatory.
• Dual-Stack Mastery: Expert-level, hands-on proficiency in both Python and Java – Mandatory.
• Cloud Expertise: Proven experience architecting and deploying on AWS – Mandatory.
• Data & Integration: Strong command of SQL and deep experience with REST APIs.
• Execution Balance: A passion for remaining "in the trenches" with an 80% Hands-on focus while steering the team’s roadmap.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to navigate complex technical landscapes (Cloud, On-Prem) to deliver enterprise-grade software.
