Data Engineer

The Role & Responsibilities

• The Senior Data Engineer joins a core R&D unit responsible for designing and scaling the high-throughput data pipelines that power real-time financial services:
• Data Pipeline Architecture: Designing and building scalable ETL/ELT processes using Python to handle complex, high-stakes financial datasets.
• Real-Time Orchestration: Implementing and managing high-frequency data streams and complex workflows utilizing Apache Kafka, NiFi, and Airflow.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Architecting and optimizing diverse database environments within AWS, ensuring high availability and system integrity.
• System Modernization: Playing a key role in migrating legacy data structures to modern NoSQL and SQL environments, including MongoDB.
• DevOps Integration: Working within a modern CI/CD framework to ensure seamless, reliable data deployments in a production environment.

Requirements-

• 5 years of experience in software development within high-caliber tech environments – Mandatory.
• 2 years of dedicated experience in Data Engineering – Mandatory.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python for data processing and automation – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major data orchestration or streaming tool (e.g., Kafka, Airflow, NiFi) or modern Data Warehousing solutions – Mandatory.
• Practical experience building and maintaining data solutions within AWS – Mandatory.
• Proven experience with modern database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar distributed systems.
