Senior Software Security Architect

Join the Software Division at Elta Systems and lead the design of secure, mission-critical software systems.

In this role, you’ll combine software architecture expertise with cybersecurity best practices to guide development teams in building robust real-time, embedded, and distributed systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and maintain secure software architecture for critical systems
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with security standards
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders on technical feasibility
• Guide development teams in secure coding and SSDLC practices
• Evaluate and integrate security tools into development workflows

What We’re Looking For:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - Mandatory
• At least 5 years of software development experience – Mandatory
• At least 2 years experience in software architecture or as a senior technical lead – Mandatory
• Strong skills in C++, C#, JavaScript
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, Kubernetes, Docker
• Advantage: SSDLC knowledge, ISO 27001/NIST/Common Criteria familiarity, network security, encryption, SAST/DAST tools
