C++ Software Engineer

The Role & Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the CTO, the Founding Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in the research and development of low-level infrastructure.
• The position balances 60% Core Development with 40% Low-Level Research, focusing on maximizing the efficiency of AI workloads
• Low-Level System Development: Designing and implementing high-performance systems using Rust, Go, or Python, with an emphasis on system-level efficiency rather than standard backend logic.
• Infrastructure Research: Conducting deep-dive research into Linux Kernel internals, processor optimizations, and hardware-software interfaces to optimize LLM inference.
• Performance Optimization: Driving architectural improvements at the system level to solve complex bottlenecks in AI compute and memory management.
• Containerized Environments: Developing and scaling infrastructure solutions within Kubernetes ecosystems.
• Foundational Engineering: Contributing to the core product roadmap as an early employee, influencing both the technology stack and the engineering culture.

Requirements-

• Systems Engineering Depth: At least 5 years of experience in Low-Level Development – Mandatory.
• Technical Stack Mastery: Proficiency in Rust, Go, or Python (or a strong C++ background), specifically for system-level programming – Mandatory.
• Linux Internals: Deep, hands-on experience with the Linux OS and Kernel – Mandatory.
• Orchestration: Significant experience with Kubernetes – Major Advantage.
• Security Research: Background in Cyber Research (Vulnerability Research/Exploitation) – Significant Advantage.
• Elite Background: Practical experience in high-end Military R&D Units (e.g., Cyber Research or Low-Level Development units) is highly desirable.
