QA Engineer

The Role & Responsibilities

• As a core member of a growing QA unit, the QA Engineer is responsible for the rigorous verification of integrated medical systems.
• The role focuses on manual testing of hardware-software interfaces within a highly regulated environment
• Integrated Systems Testing: Performing hands-on manual testing of complex medical devices, focusing on the seamless integration of hardware, firmware, and software.
• Traceability & Compliance: Utilizing Jira and Xray to maintain full end-to-end traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects, ensuring adherence to global regulatory standards.
• Test Lifecycle Execution: Managing manual test plans and executions within Xray, ensuring all evidence meets strict quality assurance and firmware/versioning protocols.
• Documentation Management: Creating and maintaining custom Jira configurations that link requirements to test runs, ensuring a transparent and auditable testing process.
• Quality Metrics: Utilizing Jira dashboards and filters to track verification coverage, risk-based testing, and overall release readiness.

Requirements-

• Professional Foundation: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of multidisciplinary medical devices – Mandatory.
• Technical Stack: Extensive practical experience with Jira and Xray for managing complex test plans and executions – Mandatory.
• Methodology Mastery: Deep understanding of QA methodologies for medical devices, including Verification & Validation (V&V) and traceability standards.
• Traceability Skills: Proven ability to manage full end-to-end traceability in a regulated software/hardware environment.
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English for professional documentation – Mandatory.
• Advantageous Expertise: Experience in Jira Administration (workflows, boards, and permissions) or direct experience testing physical medical hardware is a significant plus.
