The Role & Responsibilities-

• The Senior Backend Engineer is a key member of a core R&D team, tasked with architecting high-scale systems that secure the world's most complex cloud environments.
• Reporting to a Team Lead, the position involves navigating deep technical challenges within a distributed ecosystem:
• Distributed Systems Engineering: Designing and scaling robust backend services to process massive data streams in real-time.
• Cloud-Native Innovation: Developing within a sophisticated stack based on Python, AWS, and Kubernetes, focusing on highly available Microservices.
• Data Intensive Processing: Utilizing advanced big data frameworks to power the platform’s analytical and predictive capabilities.
• Technological Versatility: Working in a polyglot environment that welcomes high-level expertise from Java, Scala, or Kotlin backgrounds.
• Reliability at Scale: Ensuring elite performance and security standards in a production environment that handles immense volumes of sensitive data.

Requirements-

• Professional Foundation: At least 5 years of experience in Backend Development within high-caliber product organizations – Mandatory.
• Software Mastery: Proven expertise in Java or Scala (with a readiness to integrate into a Python-based environment) – Mandatory.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Significant hands-on experience developing within Public Cloud environments – Mandatory.
• Architectural Depth: Deep understanding of Microservices and experience with distributed systems at scale – Mandatory.
