Senior System Administrator

Job Description:

• Design and upgrade existing and new IT infrastructures, from requirements analysis through planning and implementation.
• End‑to‑end management of SQL Server environments, including installation, high‑availability configuration (Always On), performance optimization, and platform migrations.
• Manage and maintain Enterprise Linux environments, using automation for configuration management and security updates.
• Evaluate new technologies and integrate them into organizational workflows.
• Design and implement solutions across virtualization, on‑premises environments, Azure, and AWS.
• Install and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Deploy and maintain services in Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Support and collaborate with teams responsible for organizational infrastructure.

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in organizations with over 1,000 endpoints and/or 250–300 servers – required.
• Experience working with VMware (vSphere) – required (experience with Horizon is an advantage).
• Proven experience with MS SQL Server, including complex installations, schema and data migrations, and legacy version upgrades – required.
• Experience installing, managing, and maintaining Linux servers (with emphasis on Red Hat) – an advantage.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure solution architecture – required.
• Experience working with AWS and Azure – required.
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, and Python – an advantage.
• Experience with and maintenance of infrastructures based on Kubernetes and Docker – required.
