One of our clients, an early-stage AI startup based in Tel Aviv, is looking to hire an AI Solutions Engineering Manager.
The company builds an advanced platform that enables organizations to adopt AI-driven workflows, automation, and intelligent systems. By helping companies rethink how work gets done, they support the transition toward more scalable, efficient, and “agentic” operations. Their platform focuses on designing and implementing AI-powered applications, agents, and workflows that are deeply integrated into business processes.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strong technical expertise with customer-facing experience and operational leadership. You will lead a team of Solutions Engineers while remaining close to customers, guiding them through complex transformations and ensuring successful delivery of AI-driven solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AI Solutions Engineers
- Own delivery quality and customer outcomes across multiple implementations
- Work closely with customers to understand their current processes, challenges, and goals
- Help define and design AI-driven solutions, workflows, and systems tailored to customer needs
- Guide customers through transforming how their teams operate, not just implementing point solutions
- Step into complex or strategic customer engagements and drive them to success
- Set clear timelines, priorities, and delivery standards across projects
- Build and improve delivery processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Design internal tools, systems, and AI workflows to improve scalability and reduce manual work
- Identify repeatable patterns and turn them into reusable assets, templates, and automations
- Act as an escalation point for technical and customer-related challenges
- Collaborate closely with founders, product, and engineering to influence roadmap and product direction
Requirements:
- 5–8+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical delivery roles
- 2+ years of experience leading teams or strong experience mentoring and guiding others
- Proven experience in customer-facing technical roles (Solutions Engineering, Delivery, Technical Account Management, Support, or Technical Product/Program Management)
- Strong technical skills with the ability to be hands-on when needed
- Experience working with complex customer requirements and delivering tailored solutions
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills across multiple parallel workstreams
- Ability to understand business processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to build structure in fast-paced environments
- Interest in leveraging AI to improve delivery processes and scalability
- Excellent communication skills, high ownership, and strong judgment
- Experience in SaaS or AI companies (or relevant implementation partners)
Nice to have:
- Experience working with AI or LLM-based products
- Background in building internal tools, automations, or workflow systems
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments
