Hardware Test Engineer

This is a Hardware-centric role. We are looking for an engineer who thrives on building physical testing solutions, solving complex electrical failures, and optimizing the transition from a prototype to a high-yield production line.

About the Role

We are seeking a professional Hardware Test & NPI Engineer to take ownership of our production testing hardware and transition processes. This role is focused on the physical and electrical architecture of our testing environments.

You will be the bridge between R&D design and the production floor, ensuring that our robotic systems are tested through robust, high-quality hardware solutions and well-defined methodologies.

Your mission is to design the "infrastructure of quality” from the PCBAs inside the test equipment to the mechanical jigs that hold our products on the line.

Responsibilities

• :Hardware Design for Testing: Design and develop dedicated test PCBAs, load boards, and interface hardware required for board-level and system-level testing
• .Jig & Fixture Development: Lead the definition and design of mechanical test jigs, ensuring ergonomic, reliable, and repeatable docking and testing of electronic modules
• .NPI Leadership: Define "Design for Testability" (DFT) requirements during the R&D phase and manage the full handover from development to mass production
• .Technical Documentation: Write comprehensive Test Requirement Documents (TRD), Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), and detailed hardware specifications for manufacturing
• .Production Line Support: Analyze production test results and failure data (Yield analysis) to identify hardware-related root causes and implement engineering ECOs (Engineering Change Orders)
• .Failure Analysis: Perform deep-dive hardware debugging on failed production units to improve design robustness

• d.PCBA Design: Extensive experience in board design (Altium or similar) with a focus on test interface boards or ruggedized electronic
