Responsibilities

• Modern JVM Development: Engineering robust services using Kotlin (transitioning from Java/Scala backgrounds) within a sophisticated Microservices architecture.
• High-Scale Systems: Designing and maintaining distributed systems utilizing Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS to handle massive data streams and real-time transactions.
• Data & Performance: Working with NoSQL databases, Spring, and Spark to optimize performance and ensure the reliability of AI-driven financial models.
• Technical Leadership: Taking a leading role in architectural decisions and mentoring junior developers to reach their full potential.
• End-to-End Ownership: Solving complex technical challenges head-on, from design to production, in a high-stakes FinTech ecosystem.

Requirements

• Engineering Excellence: Significant experience in modern backend architecture, specifically with large-scale and high-performance systems – Mandatory.
• JVM Mastery: Strong proficiency in Java, Scala, or Kotlin – Mandatory.
• Academic Foundation: B.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent technical degree – Mandatory.
• Stack Proficiency: Practical experience with Microservices, Spring, Kafka, and Cloud (AWS) environments.
• Mentorship: Proven ability to guide and mentor other developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Communication: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical topics effectively in English.
