Role Description

This is a full-time, Hybrid position based in Hifa for an HPC Platform Engineer. The HPC Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting advanced high-performance computing solutions. Daily tasks include developing and maintaining software, managing infrastructure, and optimizing performance for data-intensive and simulation workloads. In additionyou will be responsible for building and standardizing HPC environments, validating real-world workloads (e.g., CFD, FEA, AI), and ensuring the platform is reliable, performant, and easy to consume by end users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in HPC, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
• Proven experience with HPC clusters and workload execution
• Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, RHEL, or similar)
• Experience with job schedulers (e.g., Slurm, PBS, LSF)
• Familiarity with parallel computing frameworks (MPI, OpenMP)
• Experience with GPU computing environments (CUDA, NVIDIA ecosystem)
• Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, Singularity/Apptainer)
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation and tooling
• Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, RDMA, InfiniBand – advantage)
