About the role

We’re looking for an AI Engineer who thinks in systems and builds at high velocity using AI tools.

You’ll design and ship LLM-powered analytics and agentic systems, owning the full lifecycle — from data and prompts to evaluation, deployment, and continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Uses Claude / Cursor as a core development interface
• Builds fast, iterates faster, and ships production systems
• Treats AI as an engineering discipline, not experimentation
• Understands that evaluation, reliability, and iteration are critical

What you’ll do

• Build LLM pipelines and agents (LangChain, LangGraph, or custom)
• Integrate and optimize frontier models (Claude, OpenAI, open-source) in production
• Design data pipelines, prompting strategies, RAG, and evaluation frameworks
• Build feedback loops and continuous improvement systems
• Optimize inference (vLLM, batching, caching, latency)
• Deploy scalable AI services (GCP or similar) and implement observability (DataDog, etc.)
• Collaborate with product and engineering on customer-facing features

AI-Native Engineering (Core Requirement)

• Use Claude Code / Cursor as a primary development interface
• Generate, debug, and iterate on complex systems with LLMs
• Move from idea → prototype → production extremely fast
• Strong judgment in validating and optimizing LLM-generated code

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years building AI/ML systems in production (not just research or demos)
• Strong experience with LLMs beyond prompting:
• RAG, fine-tuning, evaluation, guardrails
• Agent design and multi-step reasoning systems
• Experience designing reliable AI systems:
• Handling hallucinations, latency, cost, and scaling challenges
• Building feedback loops and improvement pipelines
• Strong software engineering skills (Python, APIs, system design)
