Senior GenAI Research Engineer

A fast-growing cybersecurity startup is building a platform focused on strengthening identity security across organizations. The company helps enterprises automatically discover, assess, remediate, and manage identity security posture across both cloud and on-premise environments.

This is a unique opportunity to join the R&D team and play a key role in building and evolving advanced LLM-based capabilities at the core of the product.

What you’ll do

Architect and develop core agentic LLM systems for advanced code and network infrastructure analysis

Build and optimize data retrieval pipelines to improve the quality, relevance, and performance of AI outputs

Design and refine advanced prompt engineering strategies to strengthen analytical capabilities

Establish and manage evaluation frameworks to measure the accuracy, robustness, and reliability of GenAI components

Work closely with product and engineering teams to integrate GenAI solutions into production environments

Help shape the research and engineering direction of next-generation AI capabilities in cybersecurity

What we’re looking for

Proven experience working on GenAI, LLMs, and agentic systems

Strong research and engineering skills with the ability to move from experimentation to production

Hands-on experience with retrieval pipelines, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation methods

Strong software engineering and system design capabilities

Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced product environment
