Chief System Engineer

Lead the engineering of advanced naval air defense system projects for international customers.

The developed solution represents the next generation of naval air defense capabilities.

The position includes:

• Engineering management and oversight of the project in coordination with customers

• Development of project requirement documents derived from customer agreements

• Definition of system architecture and components in a System of Systems environment

• Writing primary system specifications

• Engineering leadership of development, integration, and system verification testing processes

• Integration with advanced ship systems developed by leading global industries

• Matrix leadership of system engineers internally and with subcontractor engineering teams

• Leading system performance analysis and development and acceptance trials in Israel and abroad

• Engineering support for marketing activities

• Work with customers and subcontractors in Israel and internationally

• Participation in naval activities including sailing on vessels where the systems are installed

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering required

• M.Sc in Systems Engineering preferred

• At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering within complex System of Systems development projects, preferably in the C4I domain required

• Ability to lead and supervise engineering teams in a matrix environment required

• Proven experience in writing technical documentation and conducting performance analysis required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and English required

• Willingness to travel abroad required

• Familiarity with weapon systems, missile systems, or air defense technologies is a significant advantage

• Ability to work independently with strong systems thinking, task orientation, and assertiveness
