Technical Lead

Our platform empowers members to manage their health through video consultations, prescriptions, lab referrals, and real-time tracking, all from a single app. 

Role Description

We’re looking for a Technical Lead to provide strong technical leadership across key initiatives and help evolve our engineering platform as we scale. 

In this role, you will lead the technical aspects of complex projects, driving design decisions, guiding implementation, and ensuring high engineering standards. You’ll work closely with our Architect, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners to build scalable, reliable systems while continuously improving our technical foundations.

What you’ll do 

• Lead the technical design and decision-making for complex projects  
• Partner closely with the Architect to align with overall system architecture  
• Drive improvements to our tech stack, system stability, and engineering practices  
• Mentor engineers and act as a go-to for complex technical challenges  
• Continuously improve system reliability and adopt new technologies to enhance workflow and accelerate development. 
• Identify and help reduce technical debt in a structured, pragmatic way 
• Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs 

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including tech leadership experience. 
• Strong experience designing and building complex systems  
• Hands-on experience with Full-Stack development and ability to lead across the stack. 
• Deep expertise in Python and familiarity with additional programming languages – an advantage 
• Experience working with one or more: GCP, Django, React Native - advantage 
• Ability to lead technical design, with experience working in evolving systems that include technical debt or scaling challenges. 
• A pragmatic mindset that balances engineering excellence with business needs 
• Highly independent, self-driven, and proactive, with the ability to take initiative 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others, even without formal authority.
