Release Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to lead and own all software deliveries to production across our products and platforms.

This is a critical role responsible for ensuring high-quality, predictable releases, smooth deployments, and fast, coordinated responses to production incident

s.You will work in a matrix environment, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end production releases (planned releases and patches)
• Define release cycles, dependencies, prerequisites, and required resources
• Lead release candidate processes, approvals, regression management, and deployments
• Coordinate cross-functional release readiness and execution
• Plan and manage platform upgrades on an ongoing basis
• Define and oversee automated smoke tests and monitoring processes
• Support independent delivery cycles in a microservices architecture
• Own and manage all high-severity (P1 / Sev-1) production incidents
• Lead cross-functional response to ensure fast and stable resolution
• Drive communication and coordination until full recovery

• Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in Release Management, Delivery Management, or similar roles
• Proven experience managing production releases in complex, multi-team environments
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and release automation
• Experience working with microservices architectures
• Experience managing high-severity production incidents
• Strong understanding of SDLC, release management, and quality gates
• Familiarity with DevOps environments, CI/CD tools, monitoring, and issue tracking systems
