The Group

The R&D center is part of Samsung’s world-leading Flash memory division, which is responsible for developing and manufacturing SSD, eMMC/UFS, and emerging memory products.

The center conducts research and development of signal processing algorithms and system architecture for Samsung’s next generation platforms.

The center includes experienced researchers in the fields of machine learning, signal processing, error correction codes, encryption and data security.

What will you do?

• Design and develop state-of-the-art flash solution IPs, working closely with Algorithm engineers.
• Plan and define micro-architecture of complex algorithm hardware.
• Conduct architecture research, including modeling and simulations of hardware and algorithm performance.
• Design IPs from early stages of architecture definition, through RTL implementation all the way to tape-out.

Requierments:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from leading university.
• At least 5 years of hands on experience in complex VLSI design
• Experience in VLSI micro-architecture
• Detail-oriented problem solver with a collaborative approach.
• Skilled communicator with a strong ability to organize and present complex hardware.

Advantages:
