Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake Expert 5415

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Senior Data Engineer to lead our Snowflake-based data engineering initiatives. This is a pivotal role that combines high-level technical leadership, agile management, and cutting-edge cloud architecture. You will be responsible for defining our data strategy, optimizing performance, and integrating the latest AI capabilities within the Snowflake ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead the design and development of Snowflake-based architectures, ensuring best-in-class methodologies and high-performance solutions.
• Agile Team Management: Manage the development lifecycle and team roadmap using Agile methodologies to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• FinOps & Resource Management: Responsible for efficient system resource utilization and budget management (FinOps) within the cloud environment.
• AI & Innovation: Drive the adoption of new Snowflake features, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI capabilities to meet organizational needs.
• Security & Governance: Oversee all aspects of data security and regulation, including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), PII data access policies, and multi-environment management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary technical liaison between Cloud Management, DBA, and Networking teams.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years as a Data Engineer, including at least 3 years of significant, hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Core Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Kafka (Mandatory).
• Advantageous Skills: Experience with Spark and Java.
• Performance Tuning: Proven track record of handling complex Performance Tuning challenges in large-scale data environments.
• Security Expertise: Hands-on experience implementing advanced authorization mechanisms for complex business scenarios.
• Management: Practical experience leading development processes in an Agile environment.
