We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer with expertise in opto-mechanical design to join our multidisciplinary development team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop opto-mechanical components and assemblies.
Perform mechanical analysis, including tolerance, thermal, and structural considerations.
Work closely with optical, electrical, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration.
Create detailed drawings, documentation, and BOMs.
Support prototype assembly, testing, and debugging.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-production.
Requirements:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in opto-mechanical design.
Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
Knowledge of precision mechanics, materials, and machining processes.
Experience with thermal or structural analysis tools - an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
