Configuration Engineer

As a Configuration Control Engineer, you will be the focal point for managing the integrity of our multi-disciplinary products. You will bridge the gap between R&D, Operations, and Manufacturing, ensuring that every component from mechanical parts to complex electronics is documented, tracked, and transitioned smoothly through all lifecycle stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Change Management: Control and implementation of engineering change processes, including ECO and ECR.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage product lifecycles from early development stages through high-volume production until End of Life (EOL).
• Impact Analysis: Analyze engineering changes and their impact on the company’s operational chain; update and synchronize relevant interfaces accordingly.
• Process Characterization: Lead the characterization and optimization of configuration control processes within the organization.
• NPI Leadership: Escort NPI (New Product Introduction) projects and coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure manufacturing plans meet the product’s strategic goals.
• PLM Strategy: Characterize and define requirements for the PLM system for configuration control purposes and more..

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in configuration management within a multi-disciplinary hardware environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PLM (Product Data Management) systems and system administration skills.
• Standards: Familiarity with ISO 10007 (Quality management — Guidelines for configuration management).
• Communication: High level of English (both written and verbal) for technical documentation and interface management.
