R&D Engineer

Founded by veterans of an elite IDF unit, our dual-use technologies are trusted by leading defense partners, combining technical expertise with operational insight.

We’re looking for an R&D Engineer to drive DUMBO’s development and deployment, taking algorithms from concept to real-world, field-proven performance. You’ll work hands-on with signal processing, system integration, and experiments that directly impact the product.

What You’ll Be Working On:

🔹 Research and develop advanced algorithms (signal processing, localization/DOA, tracking)

🔹 Combine physics intuition with practical engineering to build operational systems

🔹 Take part in end-to-end delivery, from concept and implementation to real-world deployment

🔹 Participate in field experiments: setup, data collection, analysis, and iteration

🔹 Work closely with the team to integrate, test, and refine the product (software + hardware)

What We’re Looking For:

✔️B.Sc. or higher in Physics / Electrical Engineering

✔️3+ years of R&D experience

✔️Strong hands-on skills in Python and Signal Processing

✔️Technically driven, independent, and an excellent communicator

✔️ High motivation and sense of ownership

Advantages if you have:

✨ Background in acoustics, DOA, beamforming, or tracking

✨ Familiarity with ML/AI for audio or sensor fusion

✨ Experience with real-world sensors / embedded or edge deployment

✨Strong software engineering fundamentals (clean code, testing, architecture)
