System Engineer

Role Overview:

• Technical Leadership & Pre-Sale: Driving the technical strategy through all design phases, including supporting pre-sale activities, defining product requirements, and establishing system architectures.
• Multidisciplinary Orchestration: Leading the characterization, design, and integration of complex Electro-Optical systems involving imaging and laser technologies.
• Systems Engineering Documentation: Authoring critical system-level documents, including requirement specifications (SRD), interface definitions (ICD), and test plans (ATP/DTP).
• High-Level Design Reviews: Conducting professional engineering surveys and design reviews (PDR/CDR) with both domestic and international clients.
• Hands-on Integration & Testing: Participating in system-level integration, verification trials, and comprehensive system experiments, including failure analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Global Technical Support: Providing high-level engineering support for clients in Israel and abroad, ensuring successful system implementation in the field.

Requirements:

• Academic Foundation: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electro-Optics – Mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience as an Electro-Optical System Engineer – Must include professional experience with imaging and laser systems – Mandatory.
• Technical Leadership: Proven track record in leading complex, multidisciplinary projects – Mandatory.
• Verification & Validation: Hands-on experience in performing system-level integration and design verification testing (V&V).
• Defense Industry Pedigree: Significant experience within the Defense or Aerospace sectors – Significant Advantage.
