Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud & Database)

• Establish and upgrade existing and new computing infrastructures, from requirements gathering and planning through to full implementation
• End-to-end management of SQL Server environments, including installation, high-availability configuration (Always On), performance optimization, and cross-platform migrations
• Manage and maintain Enterprise Linux environments, utilizing automation tools for configuration management and patch updates
• Evaluate and implement new technologies across the organization
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions across virtualization, on-premises, Azure, and AWS environments
• Install and maintain Windows and Linux servers
• Build and maintain services in Azure / AWS cloud environments
• Provide support and collaborate closely with the organization’s infrastructure teams

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in organizations with 1,000+ users and/or 250–300 servers – mandatory
• Experience working with VMware (vSphere) – mandatory (Horizon is an advantage)
• Proven experience with MS SQL Server, including complex installations, schema and data migrations, and legacy version upgrades – mandatory
• Experience in the installation, management, and maintenance of Linux servers, with emphasis on Red Hat – an advantage
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Satellite and Ansible for automation purposes – an advantage
• Familiarity with networking and firewall configurations (such as Fortinet, Aruba, or similar) – an advantage
• Strong understanding of infrastructure solution architecture – mandatory
• Experience working with AWS / Azure – mandatory
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, and Python – an advantage
• Experience maintaining and supporting infrastructure based on Kubernetes and Docker – mandatory
• Creative thinker with a system-wide perspective, strong self-learning capabilities, proactive mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
